Delivery Information.

When you purchase an item from Swimmer Limited such as the SwiMP3.1G, the contract of sale occurs at the point when your card is charged and your goods are dispatched.

 

We will refund you on your request if the goods are not in stock or if for any reason we are unable to fulfil the order.

 

At Swimmer Limited we offer a fast and efficient service by first class post. All you need to do is choose your product(s) and we'll take over. We are experienced in delivering quickly and efficiently in the UK to any home or work address you choose. The following countries are included in our definition of the UK for delivery purposes: England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales, outlying islands and all British Forces Postal addresses.

 

All items delivered to a UK address will be dispatched using the Royal Mail first class postal service. Where items are dispatched by 'recorded first class signed for delivery' you must be available at your delivery address to sign for receipt of the the item.

 

For deliveries to a UK address 'recorded first class signed for delivery' is usually next day but please allow a maximum of 2-5 working days from the time of dispatch for your products to arrive – although this is usually less.

 

The companies normal method of postage is by 'recorded special delivery next day signed for post' this provides the most secure way of tracking an item, guarantees next day delivery & insures of the value of the item against loss in the post.


Company Delivery Method - Confirmed & Unconfirmed Address.

It is company policy to normally use Royal Mail 'recorded special delivery next day signed for' post for postage to both confirmed & unconfirmed addresses.

A confirmed address helps to prevent credit card fraud. A buyer's confirmed address is checked by PayPal against the credit card billing address maintained by his or her credit card company.


Our Returns Policy.

 

We have a 14 day return policy. If you are not satisfied with an item or change your mind within 14 days of receiving it, you can return the item for a refund or an exchange providing it is in a perfect and resalable condition with the item unused and the package undamaged or a sealed package unopened.

 

Generally if the item is unused & unopened we are happy to refund you or give you an exchange upon receipt of the item as in the case of an unwanted gift.

 

If the box is sealed then it must remain intact and item unused if you want to return it for a refund. A product that is not defective must be returned in the condition it was received. We reserve the right to refuse returned items and may charge a restocking fee if they are not in a resalable condition when returned.

 

We will issue an exchange (but we do not cover your return postage charge or any additional postage charges incurred in sending out a replacement) or a refund for the price you paid for the item (exclusive of the original postage charge).

Even if you call us by phone we can only begin the process of a refund or replacement of your faulty product when you have e-mailed us explaining your concerns. We will instruct you to email us upon answering your phone call as only then can we log the issue and begin to assist you.

WEEE Regulations.

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive is now UK law. The legislation aims to make producers pay for the collection, treatment and recovery of waste electrical equipment.  The regulations also mean that suppliers of equipment like high street shops and internet retailers must allow consumers to return their waste equipment free of charge.

 

The amount of WEEE we throw away is increasing by around 5% each year, making it the fastest growing waste stream in the UK.

 

Much of the UK’s WEEE ends up in landfill, where the lead and other toxins it contains can cause soil and water contamination. This can have a harmful effect on natural habitat, wildlife and also human health.

 

Many electrical items that we throw away can be repaired or recycled.  Recycling items helps to save our natural finite resources and also reduces the environmental and health risks associated with sending electrical goods to landfill.  

Distributors of new Electric and Electronic Equipment (EEE) have a part to play in reducing the amount of WEEE going into landfill sites.

 

Swimmer Ltd is obliged under these regulations to offer our customers free take-back of their WEEE on a like-for-like basis when they buy a new Electrical or Electronic product from us.

 

For example, if a customer bought a new SWIMP3 from us we would accept their old SWIMP3 and prevent it going into a landfill site by disposing of it safely. Customers must return their WEEE item to us within 28 days of purchasing their new item.

 

Under the WEEE Regulations, all new electrical goods should now be marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol shown below:
